TapeBridge National Player Spotlight

One player. One sport. One week in the spotlight.

During each sport's season, TapeBridge spotlights one player per featured sport, every week — selected on verified season performance. The first cycle runs in Spring 2027, alongside the spring sports calendar, and rolls by sport season from there.

How it works

  1. Apply below — it's free, and it takes a few minutes. You must have or claim a TapeBridge profile to be featured.
  2. Your head coach confirms your season stats and honors. Self-reported numbers alone don't carry a selection.
  3. Selections are reviewed by TapeBridge and its evaluator pool — former college coaches and professional coaches.
  4. The selected player is featured for a week: a National Player Spotlight badge and featured card on their profile, a TapeBridge Sports Network segment, and a social post — every piece linking back to the player's profile.

The rules

  • Selection is earned, never bought: no payment, plan tier or purchase of any kind affects it, and free profiles are fully eligible.
  • Verified inputs only — stats and honors must check out against a coach confirmation or documented coverage.
  • One player per featured sport per week. If a week has no applicant who clears the bar, that sport skips the week rather than lowering it.
  • Applying never guarantees selection.

The National Player Spotlight is the in-season honor; the TapeBridge All-American is the postseason honor. Spotlight selections become part of the documented record the All-American panel can see — a season-long paper trail of earned moments.
