Who can create a coach account?
Coaches sign up with a school or .edu email and confirm a 6-digit code we email them. Free and personal email addresses can't create coach accounts — that's how the Verified Coach badge stays meaningful.
What exactly does a staff seat get?
A seat is one staff member working under your program's account — their own login, the program's plan. On Program, initiation rights ride with the plan: your seated staff can start conversations with athletes, work watchlists, and post roster needs.
Are replies really free? What's the catch?
No catch. Verified coaches always reply free and video-call free, on every plan including no plan at all. TapeBridge charges programs for initiation and staff seats — the tools for running recruiting as a staff — never for answering an athlete.
How do NCAA contact rules work here?
The platform enforces them for you. Athlete messages can always be sent and film can always be watched; coach messaging and replies unlock on the NCAA calendar for your level and the athlete's graduation year. Division II, Division III, NAIA, and junior college coaches are ungated for electronic communication.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Monthly or annual billing — annual is two months free ($99/mo becomes $990/yr on Program). Founding programs — the first 50 — get 30% off the first year.
My listing is wrong, or my school isn't there. What do I do?
Claiming merges an existing listing into your account; coaches who aren't listed yet are added under their school during the same flow. Anything that still looks off, write us at contact@tapebridge.com and a person will fix it.
